I am a the body shop fan, and I have quite a large range of their products, I prefer their body products to make up though. And recently I bought this new product on shelf – Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask.

Seaweed range is good for combination skin, as told by their staff. Since i was having break out and shit, so I bought this. The main function of this mask is to remove excessive oil and deep cleanse your skin.

As you can see, clay mask doesn’t look appetizing at all. It looks just like…clay. And it doesn’t smell fruity nor fantastic. I have used this twice so far, and I find that it really deep cleanse your skin it seems, leaving your skin feeling very fresh and clean. For my skin it was the equivalent, as if I had got a casino.com bonus, it was a real treat.  One thing though, my skin feels dry after I wash off the mask, so be sure that you slather moisturizer.

Initially, this Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask will give you a sensation of heat, and then it will cool your skin down. Well, I recommend not to leave this on for longer than 10 mins, it will dry up after some minutes, then you can wash if off, make sure that you wash it clean though.

Normal price is RM69 for this. And guess what, the next day I bought this, I saw the special coupon in July issue of Cleo, offering only RM49. Well, can you imagine my heart pain?

Good news all! Body Shop once a year sale is returning, starting from 16th-19th May, going from 10%-70%!!! And, for The Body Shop members, there will be another 10% on the first day of sales!!!

Anyway, I bought this Bodyshop Camomile Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover a couple of days ago. I think this is the new packaging of this ancestors. There are 2 versions of this: this is milky emulsion and the other one is liquid one for non-waterproof make up. Since most mascaras and eyeliners are waterproof now, so it is wiser to buy this I guess.

I felt that last generation was abit stinging, but surprisingly this is non-stinging at all! It is really as gentle as it claims. It is better NOT to rub your eye make up off hard. Instead, you can wet your cotton pad, then just leave it on for a couple of seconds and press it gently, then the make up will come off easily and nicely. Allow some time for the remover to dissolve your make up instead of rubbing it off hard and cause wrinkles and fine lines. After a couple of secs, the make up will come off nicely and cleanly.

A tub of 100ml Camomile Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover priced at RM36. I think it is really affordable and good buy. But too bad I bought it before the sales. So, if you are running low on remover, get this during the sales period this weekend!

I am not a really huge fan of blusher, I only buy when necessary. So, since my the other one and only blusher is too pinkish for me, I decided to buy another one.

I bought this creme blusher from The Body Shop with 23% discount, too good.

This blusher is 04, golden pink. There are another 2 colors, but this is the color that goes with any outfit more easily.

Although with brush, I think it is easier to blend the powder type of blusher, but after trying this on my face, I knew I was wrong! It’s actually very easy to push and blend this cream blusher. It’s even easy to blend with fingers, and you need only a little to see the shimmer result.

But, when you apply on your check, it is not too shimmery, it’s just nice. This blusher is averagely lasting. Lasted me for about 4 hours on my face. I don’t know why, blusher just don’t stay long on my face, and btw my face is not oily. Weird.

With only 8ml, priced at RM42. I think, it is an okay buy. Suitable for my budget.

Inspired by Tine, I finally bought my first set of make-up brush in my life.

Indeed, the brush is so soft, and I really love them like my baby. This whole set was RM189, but since I had a 20% off, so, you do the maths. I would say that it is really worth it. Sold more expensive individually, this set has a nice bag too!

Actually this bag is in metallic purple, the flash of the camera distorted the color a little.

There are 5 pcs of brush:

1. A blusher brush
2. A foundation brush
3. An eye shadow flat-head brush
4. Lip liner
5. A smudger for eye shadow

And guess what, I just gave them a bath today! Now, leaving it to dry. I love my brushes! Although I have not tried all the branded before, like MAC or Bobbi Brown, but I believe this is the best for my money. After all, I need to balance out between quality and variety.
