Being a fan of lip balm, it has become part of my life. It’s something that I never live a day without it.
Over the years, I am also more picky about what goes on my lips. I prefer something that’s really moisturizing and with a tint of color. However, my fear factor is the minty lip balm, I don’t feel comfortable having something cooling on my lips.
But…a voluptuous lip balm? Definitely!
Housed in a jelly pink tube, it looks exactly like a lipstick.
But when you swatch it, you can see that it’s really balmy and slightly shimmery.
It’s not very pigmented, perfect to be used when you need moisture and also a tint of color.
With just a layer of the lips, it’s enough to give you shine and moisture.
It does create a ‘voluptuous’ plump lips illusion with the shimmer and also the watery effect.
It’s quite a nice lip balm – easy to glide on and it is quite lasting compared to the other brands.
Best of all – it gives a nice sheen to lips 😉 The only downside is probably the hefty price tag, but if you consider it as a lipstick, it’s not that bad after all.

I just picked up the Dior Lip Maximiser at dutyfree but it comes in a gloss form with a minty flavour. If it gives me the same results as yours here, I’ll be ecstatic! 😀

you are tempting me! haha. I skipped all the balms, and I just can’t pay that much for lip balms. I can’t even bring myself to get the fresh Sugar one… … But they are really, really pigmented for a lip balm actually.
