Your Everyday False Lashes: AK 607

by xin on January 10, 2011

To most of us, we will only put on false lashes important events or parties. And most of the false lashes might look natural, but still dramatic.
If you are still looking for that pair of ‘everyday lash’, lo and behold. I can proudly say that I have found!

My box of AK 607 that comes in 5 pairs.

Compared to the other box lashes, this might be a little pricey, because instead of 10, you are only getting 5 pairs for USD$12.50.

When you look closely, you can see that the lashes are quite sparse compared to the normal ones.

Again, if the lash band is transparent, it is better that you color it black first before use.

Click to learn how to paint the lash band black.

When you are done painting, let dry. Give it about 5 mins before you wear it.

I usually paint few pairs at one go to save time. When you are ready to wear, measure it at your eyes and trim from the shorter end.

From the side, you can see that there ARE lashes on your eyes but they are not overly done.

When you have glued it to your eyes, use black liner again to line one more time if necessary.

Remember to put mascara on your original lashes before hand so they look natural together.

Overall, I love this false lahses for the really natural look. They are also easier to wear because it is slightly harder (not poky) than the DJ12.

Once you remove it, clean off the glue residue and restore them back in the box, a pair like these should last you more than 3-5 uses if you are careful.

Tips of wearing:
– Make sure that you glue the front and end tightly or else it might come off when you are partying and jumping.
– Soak cotton pad with remover and leave it on your lid for a while then tear off the lashes gently. It can be reused till the shape is gone!
– Even though if it is out of shape, you can snip the parts off then keep the good ones and use as partial lash to add volume.

A box of 5 retails at USD$12.50 on They ship world wide too.

They do look pretty and not too overdone! I was in Singapore lately and noticed many people on the MRT and in malls wearing false lashes – it must be the trend there now.

jacqui: hey you will be surprised to see how many people are willing to sacrifice sleep just to put on eyemake up and falsies before work 😀 unfortunately sleep is still my priority 😛

those do look pretty good! In the 2nd pic if you hadn’t told people that you were wearing falsies, we wouldn’t have guessed.
