Aster spring voucher

Some days ago, the lucky me got this RM500 service voucher for free from the OK party.

Aster Spring KLCC

And, finally I made the appointment and went to the Aster Spring in KLCC to receive my treatment! It is actually RM500 redeemable against any facial or body services.

Aster spring counter

Look at the huge space! They are very nice and professional. Even though I walked in with free voucher, they did not demean me. Instead, they analyzed my skin problems, and explained the treatments available to me.

Bioxil

I have never used Bioxil products before, they carry Dermalogica and Averine products too!

In the end, I picked a face-cleansing treatment worth about RM218, another eye treatment at about RM228, and with the balance I topped up another RM74 for a neck and shoulder firming treatment. The whole experience was just glorious and superb. They even have a make up counter there with Averine products in case you need to touch up after your facials. This is my first time at such expensive beauty saloons.

Their facials and body services are starting from RM168. And, the most expensive ones can go up to RM600+ per session. Ah, so tempting to go back again.

Anyone is willing to sponsor me? :(

Btw, their phone number for KLCC outlet is: 03-21615115

Rose Extra Hydrating Serum

Together with the Grape Fruit Mask, I bought this Rose Oxygenating Hydra Essence EX, it is actually from a brand called Beauty Easy, manufactured in Taiwan.

It is said on the website that Rose Oxygenating Hydra Essence EX works extremely well for dehydrated skin. It contains natural rose essence, aloe vera, cucumber essence. It can help to lock the moisture, revive your skin, with added vitamin A, can help to slow down the aging process.

You can read more from their official website here for those who understand chinese. But, that’s basically the essence of the article there if you don’t understand chinese. And it contains more ingredients, which i do not know how to translate to english.

Sadly, in long hours in air-con room, my skin is thirsty as well! That’s why I bought this essence. The first week of my usage, pimples popped out! But as I persisted for about 2 weeks now. Things seem find and the side of my lip are not so dry anymore. Well, overall it has improved my moisture level, and pimples are gone now. :D :D

It also carries a very nice rose fragrance!

Together with this, I have also bought a rose cream, will review next!

粉紅葡萄柚淨白保濕面膜

There have been so much hype about the products used in Ladies First, the skin care guru who also manufactures his own brand of skin care products. So, I finally found the website who sells directly without having to wait for the pre-order items.

This is the ‘grapefruit hydrating mask’ (粉紅葡萄柚淨白保濕面膜), which is supposed to keep your skin hydrated and getting rid of dull skin. Oh, it is a gel type mask, put it on a thick layer, massage with your finger for 10 seconds and just leave it on for 10-15 mins.

The results? It feels quite soothing and hydrating leaving this on. And, when you wash it off, you can feel the suppleness it leaves in your skin. I have used this twice and so far I still like it. I guess results can only be seen when you use it in a long run?

Priced at RM38.00 for 120ml. I think it is totally affordable. The only less interesting is the plain packaging. It is just a white bottle and nothing else. But, it the result is good, I don’t care about the packaging.

I bought this from linghouse.com. They have very efficient service, I received my goods the next day I paid money. They even included a nose mask as free gift for me. :D You might want to check it out when you have time :)

Evian Facial Spray

Ever since I started using Eau Thermale Avene Thermal Spring Water, i am so in love with facial water now.

However, the price of Avene is rather steep, and since i am a hardcore user now, i would give this Evial facial spray a try.

It is now RM35.88 for 3 bottles of 50ml at Sasa, well, check it out if you are interested! :D

Now, can someone answer me this question:

What if we just buy a spray water and load with mineral water? Will it be the same?

Eau Thermale Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser

I got this Eau Thermale Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser for free! Yay for free stuff!

Eau Thermale Avene has always been famous for its thermal spring water, ( i have that too, will review soon ), and this cleanser is really extremely gentle.

No rinse formulation contains a minimum of ingredients to ensure maximum tolerance.

  • Rich in Avene thermal spring water to soothe and soften
  • No rinse cleanser avoids potentially irritating effect of harsh tap water
  • Plant derived soap-free cleansing agent removes make-up from face and eyes
  • Oil free
  • Suitable for all skin types including atopic skin

Instructions for use:
Apply to skin in circular motion and gently wipe off with cotton pad. Complete cleansing process by soothing skin with Avene thermal spring water.

All Eau Thermale Avene products are formulated with Avene thermal spring water and are hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.

As usual with all the gentle cleanser, it has no scent at all, and it is also foamless. It is actually advised that you should you thermal spring water to wash it off. Well, who has the money for all this luxury right?

I am quite surprised by its cleansing effect. My skin feels clean and supple after washing. Definitely no tightness at all! I hope I can find a small bottle like this for travel use, and of course together with the spring water as well!

Anyone knows the price?

P/S: I even used this to remove eye liner!
