Maybelline has recently launched a new series of lipstick – The Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lip Color.

I was given 4 of the most popular shades to try out.
From left to right > Papaya Milk, Buff, Pink Bloom, Summer Sunset.
I quite like the casing as fingerprints will not stick to the case.

The color swatch. I am loving the Pink Bloom already!
I applied lip balm prior to this lipstick application.

I have pale lips so the color is actually what I see and what I get.
Papaya Milk appears to be quite bright red.

I am not a fan of lipsticks, but I have recently started to ”explore” lipsticks.

Digging through my stash, I found – Stage Wonderluxe Lipstick in Candy Coy (22).
I kinda like the black packaging, the texture is the matte packaging. Nice to hold.

Here is the swatch on my hand, it’s matte and it is quite dry.
If you just apply this alone on lips, it will not give you nice finish if your lips are dry.
So, what to do?

I have to admit that I am a sucker of cute packaging….it is just hard to resist! Especially when it can double as a showing off item…
See the Tokyo Milk Iced Green Tea Lip Balm below and you know what I mean.

On the little tiny box, it says: Kissing is like drinking salted water – drink & your thirst increases. – Chinese Proverb.
How true!
Nobody wants to kiss rough lips either.
Don’t you just have to love the ladies in cheong sam? I am still keeping the box with me now
Not sure what can I use it for…but it serves as a deco item on my desk now.
Now move on to the content – the lip balm itself…

Long hours in air-conditioned room has really done a lot to my skin, and also my lips.

When I was given a chance to try a home-made lip balm, I was excited! Home-made makes everything sounds interesting somehow. Simplicity is what first popped to my mind.
Did you see the little dainty flower on the top left corner of the packaging? It is so cuteee! <3

Yes, Inuovi has a new awesome lip product in line: the Megalips Velvetshine.
Check out the product here on the website.

They have been very generous to offer me to try out the Megalips Velvetshine. The shade I chose: Chinatown Glam 32008.

It is a duo-lip gloss. Duo colors is nothing new. But lipvelvet is definitely something new to me. And…the MEGASHINE.

The lipvelvet tip. Look how pigmented the lipvelvet is!

The lipshine tip.

Swatch on my hand with flash.

Swatch without flash.
So, how do they fare on lips?
