Weee i am back after quite some days of break. Had a short trip to Melacca, and back home, had so much food and also a BBQ party. Holiday is fun! How did you spend your xmas break? ;) and I have not got the time to visit blogs yet :( feels like some withdrawal syndrome somehow.

And here is my latest polish with OPI and Konad plate M57.

Tine sent me this nice polish, and so Tine this is for you :) This is the closest flower I can find from the stamp that matches your blog theme. Hope you like it :D

The image on the plate is a combo of 3 flowers, you can actually opt to do only a flower, two or all. Just color it according to the flowers you want, then scrap off! However, i have no idea what shade is this gorgeous red.

Hello ladies! My annual dinner is over and sadly, i felt so underdressed, due to time constraint and work, our team looked all underdressed! But maybe i will post the pic in another post later! :D

Check out my new nail! :D

fishnet

Ta dah! My fishnet print with Konad plate M57. As you can see, it is quite messy, smudges here and there. I think it is quite hard to print with black on top of bright color, black stands out, but tends to look dirty. But…bah! My colleagues said it is a nice print :D

Tagged my Connie, here is my survey tag. I think blogging is a cool way to make some cool friends, in fact, i had not met any blogger friends till lately, thanks to Bee and MySimplifieds. :D They brought us together!

Now, read on for this Friendship Award & Survey Tag if you are interested. :)

Good day ladies! :D

I have been quite tied up lately, hence the lack of post, but that does not mean I stop buying stuff. Hehe few days ago I bought a 2 more Konad image plate. So, i have 4 plates now. :D

Here, I present to you, the Moo-moo print with plate m57!

konad m57

1. Paint a base coat. (ALWAYS paint a base coat so your nails won’t turn yellow)
2. Paint a base color of your choice. I chose black in this case to contrast the color.
3. Choose a print of your choice and just stamp on your nails.
4. DONE! Leave it dry for at least 3 mins before topping the top coat.

P/S:I notice that our regular base/top coat will smudge my Konad stamping, and I think I need to buy a Konad brand top coat to see if it smudges my print.

Wish to see a close-up?

Good day ladies! It is so hard to find time to scribble my nails, so yesterday I decided to just stay home after work to learn how to play with the Konad nail stamping art tools that I have just bought.

frenchkonad

Close to perfect french tip! It is so hard to do a nice curve with the stamp. My left hand is almost useless to stamp on my right hand :( I did not apply any base color since I thought I had to practice many times to get it right. Imagine if I had a base color, how many times need I erase?

frenchkonad2

After pain-stakingly erased for a couple of times,  I finally  managed to stamp them, although they are flaw-ful, but I guess I had enough of erasing and restamping.

So, more practices next time then! :D

Tips:
1. If you wish to do a perfect stamping, you need to be REALLY fast as the special nail polish dries up real fast on the konad plate.
2. It is better to wipe the plate and scrapping tool clean after 2 or 3 uses, otherwise your stamp may not able to pick up all the colors from the plate.
3. Becareful with your fingers as you wipe the plate clean, i am sure you do not want to wipe away your newly done nails as well.

Yo ladies! Hope all of you had a great weekend. I have a …wonderful weekend searching high and low for konad stamping tools set. It is so so so hard to find!

Behold…

konad1

For basic konad art stamping, you need a basic set of:

1. Image plate M56 ( there is a code for each image plate) RM12.90 for a plate of 7 designs
2.  Forgot plate number what
3 & 4. A scrapping tool and stamp tool at RM16.90 for both
5, 6, 7, 8. Special nail polish (it is thicker and sticky) at RM10 each for 5ml each

konad2

1st step:
Pick a design on the plate you wish, then color it with the SPECIAL nail polish. You can’t use the normal polish for this as the special nail polish is thick and sticky. As you can see, I bought the plate for french tip. Heheh

2nd step:
Scrap off the excessive color with the scrapping tool.

konad4

You can see there are still colors left in the design.

3rd step:
Use the stamp tool, and press it hard against the plate (the design that you have colored).
