During the last beauty expo, I bought quite some stuff there and this is only one of them. A box of algae hydration serum.
Althought currently I am using my Plant Cell D&A Intensive serum, but, I couldn’t help to buy this because it is too cheap. 10 bottles x 3ml at RM25. Can you believe it? I paid like RM240 for the DNA and this is like 10x cheaper. I can’t believe it. Can you? But one thing is, the price of skincare products are usually being marked up a lot a lot.
So you see, I did not hope much for this serum, but it was actually better than I thought. But, it’s hard to open it. You will see why.
The box looks cool, it’s like the color of spectrum. I am not sure if this was made in Germany. I think it should be, German technology?

To open the shell, requires a lot of skills and patience. I had to get someone to open for me because I got frustrated after trying to cut open with a blade after 2 mins. It’s not user friendly, just the ampule.
This is finally what it looks like once you crack open. There is another plastic cap that does not cover the bottle. So, right now, I am using this soft rubber to cover to store it in the box. The hydration of my skin has improved, and my break outs are under control now. 😀 Spicy or fried food does no effect on me now.
Top tip: Must drink enough water daily!

Wahh … looks like quite a good buy, although I haven’t heard of the brand before. I have yet to try any of these “ampules” unless I’m having a facial :p
I was introduced to your blog from mywomenstuff and I like the frank comment you have on many beauty product. I like it when you highlight both expensive and on the budget beauty product. Keep up the good work.
Just to inform you that another beauty expo will be held at PWTC from 5th of October 2007 until 8th of October 2007 from 11am to 7pm. The general public is only allowed on 6th and 7th of October 2007. Since looking at the beauty product you got from the last beauty expo, I am tempted to attend this one.
Tine: yeahh i think it’s definitely a good buy, in fact, a lot of products at the expo are usually pro/saloon use, which is why we don’t see or never heard of them in the market. Imagine the beauty saloons sell this to you at RM100/bottle for a 3ml. And charge in your facial. well, thts what they usually do to ampules.
