Berry Tasty with Guerlain Kiss Kiss in Voiline

A while ago, I received this Guerlain Kiss Kiss in Voilin from a good friend as part of a birthday present, I was excited to try out because other than their Meteorites and eye shadows, I have not tried the rest!

Housed in a gold shiny tube, it’s hard to miss it in your handbag. I love the look of the casing, but not quite liking my finger prints on it. Since it is not a flat surface, it can’t double as mirror, otherwise would have been a plus point!

Comes in a doe-foot wand, which works better for me compared to a brush because of the precision and better handling. I tend to make a mess with brush.

It looks like a red in the picture, but it is actually more to berry/plum. It has this quiet kind of elegance as opposed to the bright classic red. Fortunately, I do not have a similar shade in my stash too.

Color is pigmented with just a single but thicker application, however, you will have to coat it evenly to avoid some ‘strange white spaces’ on your lips.

This is how it looks like with a single layer application.

It would look better if I apply the second coat to fill up the white space. To work with this, you need to be more patient to make sure the application is even It has a pretty nice gloss effect but formula is not exactly ‘creamy’, which is quite common with most of the glosses.

Best of all? It has a nice fruity berry scent to it! *slurps*
