In my last trip to L’occitane, I picked up a couple of shea butter products to try, in hope to salvage my dry skin.
One of my new found favorite is this L’occitane Ultra Gentle Cleansing Milk.
I have been using cleansing milk for years in the morning as I find it gentle enough to cleanse, and it provides/retains moisture that foam or gel cleanser can’t.
When my favorite brand stopped the entire skincare line, I was devastated that it was my last bottle of it. After having done some research, I decided to pick this up to try.
Ingredients and instructions as listed.
Personally, I am used to cleansing with water instead of wiping it off.
It works ok for removing minimal makeup, but it will not work well on waterproof makeup. Hence for double cleansing, I still prefer cleansing oil.
I usually just use one pump for morning cleanse since I am not exposed to much dirt or dust when I sleep.
The milk is buttery soft and it is very moisturizing. Some bad quality cleansing milk tends to be drying and you will feel the taut on skin.
It’s very easy to spread and it’s effortless for morning use. However, it has this powdery fragrance that I find it a little too overpowering, the sensitive nose might need time to get used to it.
Most importantly? It leaves my skin soft, smooth, and moisturized!
A 200ml probably will last me only 2 months for daily use, but it’s worth the money if my dry skin likes it.
