Recently, a friend of mine is planning his wedding, and he got a diamond ring as an engagement ring for his fiancee. It is indeed a sweet act, and, it has got me thinking that, is a diamond ring a necessity for a marriage?
As all of us ladies know that, the diamond is known for its beauty and its ability to take something from looking very ordinary to astonishing. Its mere presence adds an air of class and sophistication and has had this effect for hundreds of years. This most often relates to jewelry and the diamond’s effect in the jewelry world in general as the stones are used extensively in elaborate pieces for royalty and the common folk alike. It seems that these days, the diamond represents the pinnacle of excellence in the jewelry world with no signs of this phenomenon waning. One look at online jewelry retailers and you will see diamonds dominating.
Women want what they feel looks the nicest, and will go to great lengths to satisfy this need. It seems as though women and men alike have been requesting diamond jewelry for ages and they wish to own diamonds regardless of the cost. They will go above and beyond to obtain diamonds to display and accentuate their own beauty. Lately, some women go as far as to have diamond facials. It seems as though the usage of diamonds in all around beauty increases with each passing year as new and more inventive ways are created to utilize diamonds.
Now that diamonds have not only permeated and overwhelmed the jewelry industry, they are slowly, but steadily, working their way into the beauty world in creams and other ointments to help facilitate the exfoliation of skin. The diamond has just added another impressive use to its amazingly full resume.
So, can you still say NO to a diamond ring?
