Eat, Play, Love in Bali and Beauty Reads for October

by xin on October 31, 2010

Oh dear! I can’t believe that we are less than 2 months away from Christmas! Has the last Christmas been that long already?

And the long-anticipated Bali trip is over also, still considering where should I anticipate next.

Nothing much to shop in Bali though, most of the stuff are handicrafts or batik which I don’t really fancy.

Sunset in Tanah Lot was amazing! First time in my life, I had the luxury of time to wait for the sun to set.

And a romantic seafood dinner by the beach – with grilled lobster and fish, and also a live band playing for us 🙂

The usual Balinese food I have locally is not exactly the same as those in Bali ones though.

And the satays were even served together with the charcoal to keep them hot!

Another sunset at Uluwatu.

It was quite a relaxing trip as we did mainly sight see-ing and waiting for sun set, and of course massages and spa, which were dirt cheap!!!! And we did spend some time touring the surf brands outlets, such as Roxy, Quicksilver and etc. Unfortunately did not manage to buy anything though.

Too many of photos to sort but the photos above briefly summarized my trip. 🙂 And also the fond memories that could not be pictured.

October has been an exciting month for me, and with many interesting reads too!

– I was drooling over ParisB’s Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette, however after reading the review on MyWomenStuff, I am having second thoughts already. Perhaps I should just save the money?

– Nikki just celebrated her 3rd year wedding anniversary, and I am sure they will be celebrating many more years ahead!

– Beetrice has been bitten by another #evurl bug and splurged on a spanking gorgeous Guerlain Rouge G Lipstick. Very sleek I must say!

– Sweet as always, I love the NARS makeover on Jenn. She is such a beauty!

– I must salute Connie’s courage on braving herself for brow-waxing. And she is even almost decided to go Brazilian too! Bravo!

– Unrelated to beauty, but  I totally respect Kahani’s takes on the ad agencies and bloggers. You go girl!

– Reading Benefit Poreprofessional on Yani’s, I feel so tempted to get one too!
