Finally…My First Chanel

Hope you have had a good rest over the weekend. Although I have been working over the weekend, but I am excited to show you something that you will salivate!

Enough of Monday’s dream, but I can show you how you can get a Chanel without breaking your bank or even sweat.

The basic colors that you need: Base & top coat, a white polish or acrylic color, a fine art brush, a pale pink and black. And also a glitter polish if you have.

Now, paint your 4 fingers pink and the middle finger in black.

Now, create a french tip with the black polish.

If you are a perfectionist, you can use the french tip stickers as guide. But, it will be plenty of hassle since you will have to wait until the base color is completely dry.  Don’t worry about the jagged tip as we can cover it later 😉

Here’s how a black french tip is like.

Be sure to use a subtle pink as base to fake an elegant look.

Black and white might be a good combination, but the sharp colors will give you an aggressive look instead of looking elegance.

Now, the challenge of drawing the Chanel logo.

It is a logo of interlocking C’s, so essentially it is just about writing double Cs.

Not really hard 😉

Now, as the last step, use a glitter polish to line your french tips to cover the imperfect lines and to complete the whole ‘elegant’ look.
