I have always known that Himalaya have pretty decent herbal products, and it is very value-for-money. Some people that I know of swear by this Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash Gel. Since it was on promotional pack on the shelf, I decided to pick one and try out.
It is said to prevent acne and some oil controlling stuff.
There are 2 different types of face wash – which is the gel type or the foam type. Since this was on promotion, I bought the gel type. It is actually quite sticky in fact. The gel is quite unusual from the normal gel.
First of all, it is sticky, and it is scentless. But it does carry some sort of smell which is not too pleasant. After washing my face, my face feels really clean but feel a little tight, too drying I guess? And it does not produce any sort of foam so you need to make sure that it is thoroughly cleansed when you are rinsing it off.
I wouldn’t say I like this, but I guess if I were to pick this up from shelf again, I won’t pick this gel type. Maybe I will go for the foam wash.
Available at Guardian or Watsons for RM21.90.

Hm.. I just bought it a few hours ago. I’m itching to try it, but I gotta wait till I am in the shower. Thanks for the review, although you never said anything about this product being effective or otherwise.
