Life-Saving Gel Liner for Oily Lids: Stila Smudge Pots

by xin on December 14, 2009

It has been no secret that I have extremely oily lids. (Why oh why!)

No matter what liquid liner, pencil liner I used, they all smudged on me. If you also have oily lids, trust me, I know the pain.

Just when I thought there was no more hope for ever lasting gel liner in my life, my dear Nikki introduced the life-saving gel liner to me: Stila Smudge pots.

Now you may think that I am exaggerating, but I swear this is for REAL.

The brand new baby. Awww I can’t bring myself to poke into you. <3

I have actually tried many gel liners too: Coastal Scents, Bobbi Brown, Mac..etc. Miraculously, they all smudged!

I guess that’s it. Stila is the one for me.

Using any eyeliner brush, dig a little from the pot and just draw. It is not really like fluid, it is quite matte, I guess that’s why it stays the longest on my oily lids?

stila smugdepots: big and mini

My mini smudgepot which is running low soon…  is finally replenished! 😀 Thanks to an angel.

I can never look back since I tried Stila smudge pots. It lasts almost the whole day on me without any smudges at all. If I go outdoor, this is the only gel liner I can rely on as I know its reliability.

I am sure you would not want any panda eyes when you are sweating and all right?

Although Stila is no longer in Malaysia, but they are still available on Strawberrynet.

Tips: Turn the pot upside down when you are applying the smudge pot. This is to avoid the gel from drying up fast due to the air exposure.

Stila’s Smudgepot is the very first (and only, so far. 🙁 ) gel eyeliner I’ve tried, and though it doesn’t smudge, it doesn’t last the entire day for me. 🙁 By late afternoon it would already have started to disappear on me.:( I’m using it in Jade though, so it might not be the same as in black one. Great to hear that it’s da bomb for you though. 😀
