Long-Lasting Rimmel Lipstick in Airy Fairy (070)

by xin on November 10, 2008

I am no big fan of lipstick, I prefer lip gloss, but I picked up a stick of Rimmel lipstick in Airy Fairy:code 070 from Watsons Mid Valley last Friday, simply because..it is affordable! Only RM19.90.

I was torn between 2 colors, I ended up picking this Airy Fairy and regretted for its color looks pale on my lips as I don’t have nice red lips. So, I think I need to go for darker colors. I have placed in on a tissue paper so you can see clearly, and yeah i squashed the lipstick a little (as you can see) when I dropped in onto my notebook lid. Duh.

A swatch of this color. This is the closest color I can get as I use a customized WB setting.

Pros: The color glides on lips smoothly without looking chappy. Long-lasting colors. I had lunch, wiped my mouth, and a thin layer of the color still sticking to my lips! I was told that this can last for 8 hours (I doubt it though).

Being only at RM19.90, I think I will go get another color. 😀

Rimmel lippies aren’t bad. Plus they’re cheap. You should definitely check out more of ’em 😉

I’ve been itching to try out Rimmel since it came to Malaysia. The price itself is definitely too good to say no to huh?

Bought this lipstick (airy fairy) and am at the end of the tube. The brand isn’t printed anywhere on the tube. I couldn’t remember where I bought it and have been searching everywhere. The color is perfect for me. Other similar lipsticks and nude shades are too shiny. I’m hoping to get some feed back on where I might find it (besides ordering from the internet). Thanks!

I just took a long shot and googled the color and number and found this site among others with brand name. I’m in N.C. 30 minutes from Charlotte. I don’t know who has that brand but I’ll just do some calling around to major department stores in the area. Thanks!
