Happy Monday everyone! Weekends have been a blast for me, almost an early Christmas for myself already 😀
A dear friend just got back from UK, and picked up a Barry M Instant Nail Effects, and Urban Decay Book of Shadow Vol. III for me! Yeay for both items but I am just going to feature the Barry M first.
To use Barry M Instant Nail Effects, you must have a base color first.
I am wearing OPI Burlesque in Rising Star.
It is a copper gold and shimmery, extremely easy to apply and I only applied one layer.
Let dry. Now, shake the Barry M Instant Nail Effects evenly and just apply it thickly on your nail.
DO NOT OVERLAP.
Just one swipe per layer.
The black dries up very fast and retracts by itself.
Now, watch the magic nail polish cracks.
This is how it looks when it is done.
The crack is random and you will never get the same crack for all 10 nails.
Repeat for all the nails, let dry, and apply top coat.
Now, you can see the random designs.
It is seriously easy to work with because it does not require even application.
Now, everyone can have effortlessly glamorous nails!
You can try with different base coat, but the brighter the base color is, the contrast will be more obvious.
Barry M Instant Nail Effects retails at £3.99.

woah! awesome!
and hor, ahxin, i think ur nail art & nikki’s nail art has inspired me to buy my 1st set of opi nail polish! 😛
tee hee!!!!
Connie: now i love it too! 😀 If only comes in white too!!!
plue: bought already? 😀
So what was the problem initially?
kahani: initially prob was when i could not get a nice crack 😛
That looks very pretty! I have Layla Graffiti Top Coat that works just the same and I love the effect, it’s so cool! Your nail polish needs to be completely dry though before applying this too or just won’t get a nice crack. 🙂
Ahh I’ve been seeing these a lot. Looks so cool and best of all, you don’t even have to be accurate xD
methinks this would look lovely with a ruby red polish as a base – try alternating green and red, and there’s the Christmas nails right there! 😉
