Maybelline has launched many mascaras over the years, among them, this Maybelline XXL Waterproof Microfibre Mascara is my most favourite.
As the name suggest, it addes volume and length. There are 2 tips on this mascara, which means 2 steps to use it. From the picture above, we use the white tip first, which adds length to our lashes. It contains microfibre that will coat on our lashes and fake an ‘extension’ effect.
The 2nd step would be using the black tip, the volume part to coat over the white lashes. This is very easy to use and fast-drying. However, I only use the volume coat as the white microfibre will not be coated nicely with the black mascara. It makes your lashes look clumpy when you coat them together. It’s not so bad when it looks clumpy, it is worse when you make your lashes looking like mosquito’s leg, with black and white stripes on your lashes.
I don’t know it’s just me or others are having the same problem too. I have gathered some opinions and the girls agreed that they can’t do a good job as well. I wish Maybelline only come up with a mascara with very good voluming only, so I am not wasting my money buying this XXL without fully utilizing them. I prefer fast-drying mascara so you do not have to wait for years for it to dry. Mascaras which require longer time to dry usually will weigh your lashes down again before they dry up.
This XXL waterproof microfibre mascara is available at over the counter. It’s priced at RM29.90 ~ USD$10, or even cheaper than there is sales.
Tip: If you have a habit of sticking your brush in and out the mascara bottle, do you know it will actually dry your mascara faster as the air will be pumped in?

Does anyone know when is the watsons’ sales recently?
i wan to know that any offer for this volume express mascara at the watsons recently?how much for it now?Isn’t value to buy?
JyiE: hmmmmm i think right now watsons has 10% for maybeline. not sure about the exact price though, should be less than RM30
