Monday’s Life-Saving Tips: Mini-fan to keep your make up from melting while you are on your throne

by xin on June 25, 2012

I don’t know if any one else experiences the same thing but whenever I am on my throne in the mornings after make up, I sweat and there is a risk of melting my makeup before I even step out of the house!

Since I do not have the luxury of having a fan or air-conditioner in the bathroom, I was determined to remedy this with a more affordable option – a stand fan.

However, the regular stand-fan is either too huge or the tower kind, it’s still too big for what little space I have in front of the bathroom door.

I needed something that will not block the walk way but serving the purpose at the same time.

mini fan

Lo and behold – after a long search, finally found what I needed!

A mini fan with adjustable head.

It’s small enough to be kept aside and used only when it’s needed.

mini fan switch

The switch is really simple, but it has 2 speed options!

Needless to guess which is more frequently used 😉

mini fan adapter

Comes with a 2-pin adapter, if  you have a power point near your bathroom, you can apply this concept too!

Ever since I had this fan, my makeup stays on my face till I step out of the house 😉

Do you find yourself having the same problem as me? Or is it just me?

LOL! I have the desktop USB version of this fan in my office for those days when I am working OT and the aircon is turned off. The USB version has only 1 speed though so it’s only good enough for my face and neck.

Haha! I usually do my makeup at my dresser and it’s air conditioned, so thank goodness for that 🙂 Gets warm at the office sometimes, and lazy me just use whatever paper I can find. Lol!

Well well Well, aren’t we sisters! we have mini fans attached on top of the wall in our bathroom! That’s how I make sure I don’t sweat like a pig! LOL’s more of Mr. AMW not sweat like a pig! he sweats a lot! so a fan is a great help!

I do my makeup or blowdry my hair with a standing fan blowing straight at me.

lol, sorry… gotta giggle, too! :p

Anyway, my Mom installed mini wall fans in all our toilets back home. It was mainly to help circulate the “bad” air lol
