It’s time for Easter again! Although I don’t celebrate, but I would love to join the fun too!
And I suggest you to watch the movie Hop, although it is not a mind-blowing movie, but we had a really good laugh through out the whole movie. (Not the cheap laugh you know)
I am tempted to paint eggs too after watching the movie but I think maybe I should just paint my nails instead:)
Overview of my Easter nails:
Select 5 bright colors on each nail because Easter should be bright and cheerful!
My newly acquired acrylic paint. It was at 70% off by chance and trust me, RM30 for 18 colors was dirt cheap!
Of course, you would need brushes for acrylic paint.
Use an unwanted CD as your plate to mix the color.
Make sure you go easy on squeezing out the paint because it dries up fast and will be wasted if you don’t use it in time.
Paint all your nails in different color, let dry. And time to exercise your creativity!
Acrylic paint is much easier to work with as it dries up fast and it’s not as runny as nail polish. You will have a good control of the lines.
When you are done, top the nails with top coat and you are ready to rock!
Few tips for using acrylic paint:
- Practice drawing on paper first before actually working on your nails to minimize mistakes.
- Tighten the cap of the paint after use to avoid drying up.
- ALWAYS use a top coat after acrylic because acrylic is not water proof.
- Acrylic paint is not friendly on large surface of coloring, so it is only best for details.
