Christmas is my favorite season of all, not only because of the beautiful decos, but also the holiday season! And well, of course, the gifts
Reflecting my 2012, had some ups and downs, but i has been still an okay year. We should be thankful for what we have right?
And of course, festive nails to go with the season
I am using: Acrylic paint, a-England Bridal Veil and a red from China Glaze, a fine art brush.
After applying base coat, paint your selected colors and I painted a flat red on my ring finger as the feature nail.
Bridal Veil from a-England is a perfect fit here because I wanted something that is dark but not glittery nor too shimmery.
It’s creamy and easily to apply, and one-coater
It was already late at night so I was only doing a quick nail art.
For my thumb, using white acrylic paint, I sketched a snow flake. I like how the shimmer peeking out from the smooth surface.
If you are not sure what a snowflake looks like, google it!
For my index and mid finger, I sketched a christmas tree using white paint, then top up with green. This way is the only way for the green to show, and the white will resemble the snow covering the trees.
What’s a Christmas without snowman right?
Drawing snowman is fairly easy, you just need to draw 2 dollops of white, and add the details with dotting tool.
Adding scarf and a carrot nose, you are done!
While you are at it, add some snow fall in the dark night too
It’s fairly easy to do and requires less attention to detail.
Last but not least, say hi to my sponsored child – baby girl Shil, she has beautiful features, doesn’t she?
She’s from Basanti (West Bengal of India) and only 6 months old, so I guess she won’t be able to understand or read my postcard to her yet..I pray that she will grow up healthy and hopefully will be able to go to school.
