Review: Ecolife Anti-Oxidant Hot Stone Therapy and FREE trial vouchers to be grabbed!

by xin on December 17, 2010

To combat our sedentary lifestyle, today, there are so many spas and saunas to ‘help’ us on passive exercise.

Apart from the sitting sauna, now there is HOT BED too! It’s not exactly a comfy bed, but you can lie down and enjoy the benefits.

Stepping into Ecolife in Subang. There is a shoe safebox where you can deposit your shoes and keep the key until you are done with your treatment.

The interior is very simple, even though on a hot day, it is not hot in the shop even without aircon!

I was told that it was actually because of the cement and flooring, there is a special anti-oxidant powder as one of the ingredients during the renovation. One of the main functions are such as cooling the environment.

And if you notice the cute green logo on the curtain, that is the entrance for female changing room and also the treatment rooms.

In the lounge, there are few rattan chairs for you to chill and cool your body down after a hot session.

On the left, this is the corridor to the men’s section.

They have family room too! Enough to cater for 4 persons.

Don’t worry about having to share, because you have the ‘uniform’ to wear.

The hot ‘bed’.

The red tiles are the special tiles with while the white ones are the regular tiles.

So, you will have to lie on the red tiles so the heat from the flooring can penetrate your body. Don’t worry about dehydration because you will be given a tumbler to be brought into the hot bed and refill as much as you want. Their water is specially added with anti-oxidant agent too!

Me wearing the standard uniform before stepping in for my session.

They will supply 2 towels – one big one small. You can lay the towel on the floor if you are worried about the heat. But don’t worry the heat will not burn your skin!

It’s hot but it is tolerable. And I almost fell asleep through out the 45 mins of session.

There are different positions you can lie, eg lie on your back, lie with face down, sleeping on one side. Different positions so you can choose which area you would like to target.

45 mins on the hot bed and I was sweating seriously.

After the treatment, you are encouraged to sit and cool yourself down at the lounge and there will be a small cup of fruit enzyme awaiting you.

The  men’s changing room and bathroom.

The soap provided is quite unique too, as it contains anti-oxidant power and although there is almost no foam at all, but it is clean! I even washed my hair without conditioner and my hair didn’t feel dry nor tangled.

I spent about 2.5 hrs time there, including the session, bath time and also chill time.

The shop is located in Taipan USJ10.
