Review: Maybelline Long Extreme Double Stretch Mascara

I am sure some of you may have seen the new Maybelline Long Extreme Double Stretch Mascara on the shelf now in most pharmacies, and even in the magazines! So, how does it score?

The packaging is alright. I actually quite like the black body with pink stripe ends.
It comes with 2-end which has been labeled for easy reference.

The first end is the one that adds fiber, where you can actually fake thicker lashes. But becareful not to overuse though, it is going to ugly if you do not cover it nicely with the black tip.

The second end: I like the design of the wand! It will not pick up too much mascara at one go which results spider legs on your eyes.

And it separates lash by lash.

Of course, you need to see the before-after picture.

It is actually quite buildable. But I tried building almost 5 layers and I really ended up with spidey legs.. so, moderation is the key here!

What it claims:

Easy removal, smudge-proof.

Ta dah! Removal is really easy because basically you will wipe out all the fibers without black residue around eye.

BUT, you have to make sure that you clean lash by lash, if not, some might still stick to your lash, and becareful not to let the fiber gets in your eyes! It irritates quite a bit.

It is said that you can even use warm water to remove this, I have yet to try it though.

I like:

- Does not smudge at all even after a long day.
- Stay curl all-day without weighing down my lash. (Most mascaras do to my lashes)
- Definitely no clumpy lash with a single application.
- Easy removal.

I did not like it with first try, but after some trials, I am liking this now. Not that I would die for it, but it will stay in my pouch now!
