Skin79 Lovely Girl Blemish Balm (BB Cream)

skin79 lovely girls blemish balm

I am sure most of you ladies have heard about the big hype over the BB cream, or Blemish Balm. Skin79 is one of the most famous brands which carry this product. I just bought a sample size of this product to test it out and I can’t wait to show!

before

Before: Visible open pores, pigmentation and some acne scars. Notice that my skin has some red tones. 🙁 wish i had perfect skin.

What about the AFTER result?

after bb

After: Open pores are visibly reduced, so are the acne scars! And also notice the darker skin tone, as the BB comes in only a single color and it is rather dark for my skin tone. However, after some minutes as I am typing this. I have noticed that the color has blended in with my skin. So it is not as dark now. I wonder why. And I have only applied a little bit to test out! 😀 😀 Tomorrow I am going out and I am going to try this on for at least few hours to see how it feels!

There are not many reviews available now, and from some research, they say prolong use of this magic BB cream will eventually ‘fix’ your skin. However, this is not a SKINCARE moisturizer so it must be removed properly just like foundation.

What do you think now?

A tub of 40g of BB can cost between RM70-RM100+, depending on the brand.

Nice effect! I was tempted to buy this too. So many BB cream in the market now. This brand’s a tad pricey eh? I’m currently using Missha’s.

Jessie, blemish balms are so worth it. Some brands are not very expensive such as Missha and Skin Food. Etude as well. A tube will last very long, you can count that. Aside the the skin healing properties that I don’t pay much attention to, BB cream acts as a makeup base, it gives the skin an all day glow, acts as a light foundation sub, evens out skin tone and lightly conceals blemishes.

Wow, looks good. I was looking at the BB cream from the Face Shop but the lady kept telling me I don’t need it. So until now, I’ve not tried one.

Etude House BB creams are RM 40+, and Etude House just opened in Sunway Pyramid. The Refreshing one works nice 😉

I have use BB Cream (Skin 79 Gold) for 2 weeks, and my skin became dry & started to peel off. U have to know what’s the side effect when promoting BB cream.

I have super dry skin since I live in a desert (Las Vegas). Oriental Gold tends to make my skin very flaky. The only bb creams that I tried and it will work for me is VIP Gold, Lovely Girl and Prestige. Coverage wise, I like VIP Gold the best. It appears Matey on my skin. Lovely Girl and Prestige makes my skin look dewy too, but sine I have dry skin I have to pat it on instead of spreading it. VIP Gold I can spread on though.

If your skin is super dry like mines, I’d suggest you use some strong moisturizer to keep it moist. My skin flakes when I use them without moisturizers.

I learned to use my crystal peeling gel every week to shedd off my dry skin (It’s a coincident that my chinese zodiac is a snake. xD). I use Sue Hydrating Gel before applying any BB Cream.

If ur in USA, you can buy from http://www.skin79usa.com (Authorized Skin79 distributor). THey’ll give you free samples if you contact them.
