Summer NOTD: Hawaiian Blues

Tools: Base & top coat, blue, black and white polish. And an old eyeliner brush or any thin brush that you have.

2

Step 1:
Apply base coat and let dry. To create a Hawaiian beach theme, color all your nails with blue polish and let dry.

3

Step 2:
Then, with a hard and dry art brush (I am using eyeliner brush here), pick up white polish and color the bottom half of the nail. Try to use the ‘stippling’ method as you would do with your foundation to create a 3D surface to represent the sea.

Step 3:
When the white polish dries complete, pick up black polish and draw a tree trunk.

4

Step 4:
Slowly add some curves to the trunk as the palm tree leaves. Continue to add the leaves until you think it is enough. Then, if you have green polish, add some leaves in between to make it look more natural.

5

Step 5:
On the rest of the fingers, it might be tough to draw a palm tree due to smaller surface. So, we will add some seagulls randomly on the nails.

6

Step 6:

When all your nail art is dry, add a layer of topcoat to protect your nail art.
