As I have written here about SPF, today I am going to introduce my current sunscree.
Sun Play has been known for their sunscreens and sun-related products, products range from SP15 – SPF130, which is the highest SPF available in the market. Sunscreen with SPF130 should be suitable for more outdoor activities such as swimming, picnic or long exposure under the sun. Checking out the back of bottle, I practically understand nothing. But I guess it is the usage that is printed.
I bought this for a motorsports event actually. I predicted to stand under the hot sun for a long period. But, apart from the sunscreen, I was wearing long sleeves and with umbrella as well. Yes, I am very paranoid. So, naturally, I wasn’t burnt at all. Since then, I have used this sunscreen for most under-the-sun outings that I go. It works fine for me all the time.
As you have seen from the picture, the nature of this sunscreen is very light and watery. It will flow all over your hand if you don’t spread them in time. It’s white in color but it will not appear too white on your skin after applying it.
This is about RM29.90 for a 30ml, available at most pharmacies.

I’ve tried this sunscreen but I did not like it as I felt it left a film over my skin and made it feel like paper. Unfortunate really because its got such high SPF.
Hi Paris:
Thanks for dropping by, yeah it actually makes my face feels sticky yet dry after applying, but I still use it because of its high SPF. I have few more sunscreen to intro, stay tuned. 😉
I just got myself a Sunplay SPF130 for daily use on my face. Just realised it’s kind of exaggerating. Can I ask whether using this will clog up pores in the the long run?
Thank You!
Moiey: for daily use? do you have an outdoor job or something? as for whether it clogs pores in a long run or not, well, it might, but i have no experience coz i only apply it when i know i will be outdoor burning. but, sincerely, i don’t encourage you using this everyday, you should probably go for a lower SPF. And, i am sure you will not feel comfortable wearing this whole day daily, coz it creates a sticky film on your face. and it’s hard for you to apply make up after tht 🙂
Yup, I guess I should… Just tried it today. Nope no outdoor job, im just exposed to Sun when I walk to sch..LOL..Thanks anyway! =)
Moiey: Hahaha i bought my SPF130 intended for the same use as yours. But I find it annoying to have the sticky film with me. You can read about this http://prettybeautiful.net/how-much-do-you-know-about-spf/ here to find out which is suitable for you. 🙂
To Whom It May Concern:

chryssna:
How much is the SPF value of the sunscreen from face shop? This SPF130 is more suitable for long exposure to sun at out door, if you stay indoor most of the time, i don’t recommend using this everyday. it forms a greasy film on the skin so your skin won’t feel comfortable. And i am not sure long term use on this will cause pimple outbreak or not. This is working for me, but i only use it once a while when i have to go out door. If you stay indoor, just use a SPF 15 or 30 is already enough. 🙂
how much is the spf 65 ?
alicia: SPF 65 should range from rm20-rm30 at watsons/guardian.
Where can I buy this? I am in the US.
Thanks.
eos: You can check for it on ebay, as far as i know, there is no distributor for this brand in the US. 🙂 let me know if you need further help.
Is all the sun block product will cause pore clog? include watery base?
RC: basically yes, esp sunblock with high SPF. if u don’t need to stay under the sun everyday, i suggest u go for ard SPF25 to avoid clog pores 😉
My husband, travelling in either Thailand or Korea found it for me. We lived in Taiwan that that is originally where I found the sunplay spf 130. Chryssna, whom I got a hold off by searching sunscreen, told me that e bay carries it. Christina(sp) lives in South Africa.
This is our favorite sunscreen. When my husband travels to Asia, he always looks for it, however usually he gets the 50 factor since 130 is difficult to find.
is it waterproof? is it reliable when going underwater?
It’s my 1st time wearing any sunscreen on my face as i have very oily-combination skin (even oil-free products can aggravate it). This product feels really silky and i only need to apply a little for my whole face which gets dark easily considering my oily type skin. It’s much easier to apply my liquid foundation after putting on the sunplay and overall, my face did not get so oily (or drying) afterwards and lasted the whole day. Thank God for this product! =D
May I know where can I buy Sunplay super sunblock SPF130 in Taiwan?? Please reply asap, thank..
