I watched The Amazing Spiderman last week in 2D, nothing really impressive about the story line, in fact I think I have had enough of spiderman stories already.
However, watching it in 2D is cool! It’s basically a High Definition movie, much clearer without the snowy effect that the normal movies give. You should try it! It’s just RM1 extra per ticket and I think it’s really worth it.
My nail art for the week was inspired by the movie.
The main colors are red and blue but I used white for my accent nail.
Left to right > base coat, Essie Blanc, China Glaze Poinsettia, a-england Order of Garter, and top coat.
You also need some tiny art brush, black polish or acrylic paint.
Always remember to use a base coat to protect your nails. Currently I am in love with OPI Nail Envy as I find that it really protects really well and helps to lessen the brittle, especially for my toes.
This China Glaze Poinsettia is a fire red polish with smooth and creamy formula, unfortunately, the brush is really too small for anyone’s good. Otherwise, I really love it.
For my accent nail, I sketched a spider with a fine brush. It’s essentially just 2 connected ovals, but please make sure that it has 8 legs!
On my pinky, drew some cobweb, but my brush was not thin enough to create a silky effect.
On my middle finger, can you guess what it is? 😀
When all is dry, paint a top coat over it and you are done! I always prefer to use acrylic paint for nail art as I find that they are easier to handle, and they never smudge. And if you make a mistake, you can remove it by Q-tip soaked with just water because it is not water proof.
So…did you catch The Amazing Spiderman? Did you enjoy the movie?
