The Cute Oriental Lip Balm – Tokyo Milk Iced Green Tea Lip Balm

by prettybeautiful on March 9, 2010

I have to admit that I am a sucker of cute packaging….it is just hard to resist! Especially when it can double as a showing off item…

See the Tokyo Milk Iced Green Tea Lip Balm below and you know what I mean.

tokyomilk lip balm

On the little tiny box, it says: Kissing is like drinking salted water – drink & your thirst increases. – Chinese Proverb.

How true!

Nobody wants to kiss rough lips either.

Don’t you just have to love the ladies in cheong sam? I am still keeping the box with me now :P Not sure what can I use it for…but it serves as a deco item on my desk now.

Now move on to the content – the lip balm itself…

The balm comes in a huge glass jar, it reminds me of the Lip Ice lip balm in grapefruit!

One thing that I dislike the jar design is the fact of having to dig out the content with my finger. As I always keep my nails long, the balm tends to get stuck in my nail. So, I will usually apply the lip balm in jar with Q-tip. It saves me the trouble of digging out the balm from my nail later. :P don’t judge me!

The balm itself is quite light but moisturing enough for 1-2 hours. I love the scent of green tea on my lip *yummy*.

Most importantly, it is a huge jar of 0.22oz. It will seriously last a long time.

Unfortunately, I lost this lip balm together with my precious lip pouch *SIGH* I almost killed myself for my muddle-headness. Oh well…life goes on. Although this balm has only accompanied me for 2 weeks, but I love every single moment of having it around me.

On the bright side, I still have the cute box! Not that pathetic after all. :)

Tokyo Milk Iced Green Tea Lip Balm is available on Soap ‘n Sorbet for SGD$22. It makes a great and unique gift, most importantly you can expect prompt and reliable service from the site owner.
