Valentine’s Nail 101: Sweet Heart Nails in 20 mins

Valentine’s is near…chinese new year is near…and I haven’t painted my nails in a while! Anyone misses my nails? ^_^

So, you are going on a Valentine’s date and you only have 20 mins to spare? Don’t worry, you can whip out a set of good nails too!

You need:

– Base & top coat
– A sweet nail color
– Glitter nail color
– A long strip of nail sticker ( Thanks Lisa to send me this 🙂 )
– Tweezer, scissors

Since it is a sweet date, pick a sweet and mellow color (pink, shades of pink, red, gold). Here, I am using Revlon Tropical Temptation in 914.

Color a tip along your nail bed. Don’t worry about the line not being perfect. You see, the reason of why I am doing a thick tip is to cover the imperfections, plus it is much easier to draw a thick line.

Then, use the tweezer to lift the sticker up and try to roll it along the line of your polish.

See? The imperfections can be under cover!

Then use a scissors to cut the excess.

It should look something like this when you are done. This sticker is so much fun as it works like cello-tape. But a lacy one 😀

Looks a little boring here.. I prefer to jazz it up a little.

By adding glitter polish on the tip! Now, it is jazzy and bling-bling.

Let dry and apply a layer of top coat to secure the lacy sticker.

And finally a family picture!

Honestly I finished this in about 30 mins including the photo shooting time. So, I am guessing without posing the nails, 20 mins should be sufficient.
