Just a while ago when I was doing my usual roaming in the mall, I was attracted by this particular lingerie shop that I have been seeing – neubodi.
Since they were having some promotion, so I decided to test some out. One can never have too many bras anyway 😉
NOTE: The price of neubodi bra ranges from RM248 – RM338, depending on designs and cup sizes.
Some moments later…I came home with this! They provide quite a personalized service, as in the sales assistant will help you to fit in your bra and educate you with the correct method to ‘adjust’ the excess fats back to the bra. And yes, she will have to see it all. But they are not pushy at all! And they are of course very patient too. I walked out from the shop the first time, but eventually returned to get them.
It cost me quite a significant amount of money (to me anyway) and while I was in the shop, I overheard some shoppers going on and on about why should one spend so much on lingerie.
A lady in 50’s even gave me a weird stare while I was paying for these. It got me thinking – why was she here in the first place?
I never really knew the importance of a good bra until these 2 years, and the difference they make. Am actually glad that it’s not too late yet 😉

When I first read your title, I thought it was to do with those drinks that people take but eh those are such pretty bras! I have to agree about the importance of wearing a good bra. It makes a huge difference to your clothes and sometimes posture too. Question: How pricey is pricey? 😛 p/s I thought the aunties will quickly snap them up being aunties and all 😛

LOL oh they are exp too the inner drinks. My pricey is defined as anything RM250 above. The discount was only 20% which is why the aunties were still aunties.

I just splurged last month on my first ever La Perla bra set (bra and panties) and still have not worn it due to the cost (even though it was close to 70% off)! As I was telling Beetrice, I walked out dazed and confused at the fact that I’d just spent hundreds on lingerie… 😛

if it’s a good bra, it’ll make you look better in your clothes, I noticed that when I dump all my old and ill-fitting ones and change them to something better. It’s a little difficult to actually allow a stranger (the SA) to help me try on numerous sizes/ designs, but the effort is well worth it.
Dunno why they seem to know my body much better than myself!

i have to agree! i have also dumped all the old bras tht dont fit well. it’s an awesome feeling 😛 and i really respect the patience and professionalism of the SAs, i must have tried at least 20+ pcs before buying them

1 silly question, how do you “dump” your old bras ? I don’t know where I got this ” strange idea” that one is not supposed to dump old bras and panties juz like that, but need to cut them into pieces 1st… It’s so troublesome and my good scissors go blunt…. hmmm ( pls don’t laugh ^_^ )
Eh! I also just bought this type of “fat shifting” lingerie recently. Cost me a bomb but the effects are so worth it! 😀

Haha I also got duped by the headline thinking it was those beauty drinks! 😛 But pretty lingerie makes a difference lah, even if no one sees it you’ll know it…plus no weird bumps and bulges here and there! 😀

Ooh so pretty! Call me crazy but I’m prepared to spend a LOT on a great nude, multi-use bra and then pay less for a pretty lacey bra. My reasoning is, the nude smooth bra I’ll wear under everything without thinking twice but the lace bra will show up bumpy under my tighter items and I’ll likely only wear it occassionally under clothing that needs less perfect bralines.

I agree with u if u usually wear a lot of tight tops 😀 but i don’t usually wear very tight fitting so i am okay with the laces, plus i like them! 😀

I totally agree that you should spend a bit more moolah to buy bras that fit you well. Once I find a brand/model I like, I just stick with it. My fave is La Senza but their prices are v reasonable and they last for 2-3 years if I stick them in laundry bags when I toss them into the washing machine.
i used to wear la senza bras cause of the designs. but recently i find that they don’t fit me really well so i have stopped purchasing them. sometimes when i pass by the store, i still wish that i could find a piece that is pretty and fits me well. otherwise, there are still the panties 😉

I’ve learnt the importance of proper lingerie, or at least bras about 6 years ago and they really do make a difference in a lot of ways! 🙂 I’m also a corset-wearer (Though not always). I have always been intrigued by Neubodi, maybe I should go give them a try 😛 My favourite brand is usually Wacoal as their cutting suits me, and sometimes Triumph and Xixili haha!
