Acne Buster: Kielh’s Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment

by xin on January 6, 2011

Stepping into 2011, one of my resolutions is also busting my acne! I hope they shall never pop on my face again since I am a year older!

At the same time, I am in a progress to pursue plump and hydrated skin, which I have just spent a bomb on. Will report if my regime works :)

Kielh's Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment

When combating with occasional acne outbreak, I have tried numerous acne cream/gel, but most of them are too drying for my skin and cause peeling.

My most-faithful acne control gel has to be this Kielh’s Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment.

I can’t believe I have never reviewed it before!

Kielh's Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment Application

The direction to apply is pretty straight forward.

Just apply on the acne affected spot/area on a cleansed face, but I usually apply it after toner.

Of course you would not want to rub this off with your toner. ;)

Kielh's Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment Tube

Kielh’s Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment comes in a tube with a small opening, you hardly will oversqueeze the product out, which is good.

The product itself is like gel-cream but the texture is not heavy and it will sink into your skin when you spread it evenly. And it doesn’t smell horrible although it has the medicated smell.  With one of the main ingredients being Salicylic Acid, it is quite effective in drying out acne.

For the fresh huge acne which is not ready to be popped yet, you can apply this and the acne will dry off usually within 2 days. However, if you do not pop it but want it to disappear, you will have to apply for 5 days consecutively to regain the flat surface. For huge and ripe acne, I prefer to use Nexcare 3M Acne Patch.

As for the acne mark after it has flattened, it takes a long while to disappear. This Kielh’s Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment can be used for reducing scar too! So, keep using until you are satisfied.

With that being said, a 30ml tube/RM100 can last you for REALLY long even with daily use!

If you would like to try before buying, you can always walk into Kielh’s store to ask for a sample, they are quite generous with it.

I will definitely repurchase this product when I am done with this tube. :)

TIPS:

To  stretch your money, you can wait for the occasional sales, which entitles you to get RM10 off every RM100 spent. So, this Kielh’s Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment will only cost you RM90 instead of RM100.

I get the occasional spot and because I don’t get many spots now, I’ve forgotten what works. I’ll try this next time! :D

I went through most of a tube of this stuff before having to concede that I think it did NOTHING. My skin clearly needs tougher creams! =(
