Bah.. I hate my skin. Sensitive skin type is really annoying. Recently, there are some unknown dots on my face again.
Well, I have started taking some bee pollen some days ago, and used the L’oreal XXL day moisturizer. Now, I am going to stop both of them to let my skin calm down and observe again. I love trying products and yet I have stupid skin.
Sigh. Anyone has any sensitive skin care products to introduce to me?

Hi!
Try cellnique! in the beginning of november (next month) there will be a roadshow in midvalley! so do try their products (but a lil bit pricey).
their best seller is the sebum gel. it’s suitable for all skin types and it’s really gentle to your skin.
there’s a travel pack kit (RM50) selling in Sasa’s outlet. hope you do like it! =)
skinfood maybe? it’s all natural food products.. my sis was working for them and she said that they’re good. but every time she brings something back from there i have this strange urge to taste them…mmmmm blueberry flavor…
pearlyn: thanks for the info, i will prob check out during my next sasa trip 😀
panda/ben: is skin food really natural product? probably i will pop into their store to find out in my next shopping trip. 😀 well..i tasted the bodyshop blueberry body butter before…i lived!
pretty beautiful, i have combination skin type and it’s really annoying that my T-Zone is always oily!
there are two types of moisturizer:
one is cream based, another is lotion based. cream based is for dry skin, whereas lotion is for oily skin. Agree?
so i asked my friend, ken. which moisturizer should i choose since i have dry skin and oily skin (combination) and he said : Gel
so he introduced cellnique to me, which it’s moisturizer and cleanser are in gel form. and its good!
these products are totally suitable for sensitive skin! trust me! my friend, angel (colleague), she has this superrrrb sensitive skin like you, she decided to try this and it works! she said she’s gonna invest in it no matter how expensive it is (which i understand it’s hard to choose and buy the right and the best skincare products for yourself)
their best seller would be the sebum gel. cellnique’s product (the one that i use) are all fragrance free.
good luck to you! 🙂
pearlyn: thanks for the detail 😉 will definitely try the product then if even sensitive skin is cool about it. I agree that gel is the best solution around for combo skin, since moisturizers are usually too oily and lotions are not so cool at moisturizing. i have been sourcing around for the best skin care, but sadly, till now i have not found any for myself yet. will review when i buy the products! 😀
hihi!
How long have you been sufering with this sensitive skin?Is it start since your teenage time?
My suggestion here is, look for natural skin care that specially for sensitive skin and must be very mild product.
*avoid product that content Sodium Laureth Sulphate or Sodium Lauryl Sulphate because it’ll be very harsh to your skin.
Don’t use whitening range 1st and must be careful with product that content too many time of pure essence active ingredient. Although is very good nutrient for skin but for sensitive skin, it’ll react very fast and may create red rashes and dots on your face.
*how’s the unknown dots look like?got photo to show?
Hope my little information can help you!
hi ainature2009: thanks for the information. Are all sodium react the same way? Or only Sodium Laureth Sulphate or Sodium Lauryl Sulphate? My skin has not been so sensitive before, but now it is worse than ever. The sensitive patch is more on my left cheeks, under eye, not the whole face though. The affected area is dryer and itchy, and with some dots and red patches. The dots look like poxes, looks like mini-pimples. Will try to take a picture of it, bu will need others’ help. I have been to the doctor and the allergy just kept coming back. I have been avoiding make up and skin care these few days, but it would not go off.
You have any recommendations for natural skin care brand? Thanks!
