Beauty Formulas Nail Polish Remover

Since I bought 2 bottles of nail colors, from Sasa and Elianto, it is also time for me to restock nail polish remover.

In fact, there are plenty of brands available from the market, ranging from RM1 to RM30, all depends on your needs and how much are you willing to fork out for a nail polish remover. These days, there are also several types of remover, the most traditional ones are this type, the liquid remover. The newer versions will be in the cream form, the sponge soaked in remover, which all you have to do is dipping your nails into the bottle. There is another one even more convinient, where you can wipe off the nail polish with just sheets on paper in the packet.

But, those non-traditional methods usually cost more. So, me, still stick to this good old liquid remover. But, it is better than you get some better quality remover, because the cheap quality might damage the natural layer on your enamel, which will leave your nails very dry and dehydrated. In fact, after long wearing of nail colors, the natural protection on your nails will be stripped. That’s why it is better for you to remove the colors, let it breathe, then only reapply the color.

This nail remover from Sasa is priced at RM8.90 with 20% off at 250ml. However, this remover is quite disappointing. It claims to have with conditioning Panthenol Pro-Vit B5, but, it is no difference than the RM1/bottle nail polish remover. But nail now looks like shit without the natural gloss and shine.

Anyone has a good one to recommend?

Cutex or Sally Hansen does it for me. I don’t trust the no-brand ones, as they tend to strip the nails, leaving them dry.
