Ever since I started trying out different nail arts, I sort of developed a passion for DIY.
I hated crafts, or..anything that requires me to get dirty. I was a 100% of ready-made stuff. Mainly influenced by my parents. LOL.
But, as I started to read more and more too, the interest of mixing my own facial and body oil just boomed!
Yes, that’s my total haul of base oils and essential oils from Garden of Wisdom.
I can proudly tell you that my face is surviving from all the tests and combos, in fact, my skin has never felt this soft in my entire life!
Will be sharing more on that next time
Now, my second sudden interest…
My creations from polymer clay! They are still raw and need to be baked.
I have attached little pins inside them for me to make charms when they are ready
There you go…I think I am turning into a hobbyist, and I am serious about every ‘sudden’ hobby that I have each time, which is why I tend to overbuy sometimes.
Let’s just hope that I can prove myself wrong this time
What about you? Anything to share about ‘sudden hobbies’?

Better not tire of DIY-ing with your oils or they might spoil. Somehow, I got lazy after a while and now, I’m afraid to touch any of my oils for fear that they’ve oxidized or something. Recently, I blended some oils for my body and I think the reason why I got pimples using them was because the oils have already spoiled.
btw, I feel like chewing on your clay creations!!!

i read about their general shelf-life is about a year, so i guess i gotta finish them up within a year or less
will restrain myself from purchasing any body products so i can just depend on my oils

I have multiple hobbies too but nothing new as of late. I used to like doing crafty stuff but then I’m usually terrible at it and I now lack space

Beautiful!
Very nicely and professionally crafted too I might say
You really do have a knack in DIYing and are very good with your fingers
I’m currently being bitten by the jewelry/accessory bug. I was on the lookout for a good long multi-strand necklace but I see NONE that suits my taste- I am feeling like creating my own necklace! Too bad the only place I know that sells the Swarovski beads I want and semi-precious stones for cheap are in Petaling Street (Though not those wholesale shops, I do have my sources), and I’d need to fork out a little for lampwork beads (Which I love)
BTW, am so interested in your facial/body oil concoctions!
I love facial and body oils and would LOVE to hear your thoughts/reviews/opinions on yours!

Please do share your oil concoctions as I’m quite a fan of facial and body oils myself. I find it intriguing that you live in hot and humid Malaysia but yet facial oil has worked out well for you.
The grapes look so real and cute! I always have what I call the ‘sudden hobbies’ attack especially in spring and summer
I was bitten by the polymer clay DIY ‘bug’ a few years ago, bought heaps of Fimo and even a small toaster oven (didn’t want to mix the clay with my regular oven for baking). Now the oven toaster is in our store room, untouched for over a year!
