Colorful Monday: Inglot Freedom System Palette – Eyeshadows Review

by xin on July 11, 2011

Happy Monday ladies! Have you had a good rest over the weekend? 😉

Last week, I have shown you the tour of Inglot cosmetics in Malaysia, today, I am going to show you the palette that both me and ParisB bought together.
Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow

You have probably read enough about their Freedom System palette – which you can pick the colors on your own and have them housed in the magnetic palette.

And, if you have another quad palette, you can simply keep stacking them on top of each other!

Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Slide

Due to the strong magnet, the eyeshadow can never drop out and you can only slide open the casing instead of pulling it.  Just like a slide phone!

Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Colors

My choice of colors. The peach (361 M ) is actually an eyeshadow but it is good to work as a blusher too. Now, I have all-in-one palette.

The eyeshadow is actually pretty big and value for money. It is the size of our 50cent coin! (Malaysian)

Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Swatch

The colors are pigmented and the colors are quite smooth too.

The 45 SHI is an unexpected gem as it is a really nice bright mellow yellow, not too overwhelming.

Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Applied

The color combination on my eye.

I have used the 451 P as my eyeliner and skipped my usual gel liner.

Inglot Face

And the eyeshadow as blusher on my cheeks. Make sure you are light handed in dusting the ‘blusher’ as the color is very pigmented.

The colors are easy to work with, and with a single palette, you can create a light or heavy makeup as you wish.

You can have a separate palette of blushers collection of course, but I would prefer this way as in times of emergency, I only have to bring one palette out 🙂

Price: RM28 each for a square eyeshadow.

Availability: Inglot cosmetics is now only available in Sunway Pyramid. For view of color selections, you can browse their website here.

Woah! I like the semi transparent cover! Also love the color combo you chose! 🙂 Expresses individuality! Hmm.. was Shu Uemura inspired by Ingot when it issued its recent mix n match makeup collection? Color Atelier, i think it’s name was… *Yoda-ish sentence* 😉

i thought the casing was cool too! and it is very very sturdy, think there is no way u can break it. the few of us had the same thought of inglot looking like shu uemura, but heck, if it is only at a fraction of shu’s price, it is definitely a better choice 😀
