New to make up? It’s pretty simple, here are few essential guides for you! 😀
- Cleanse your face, apply toner and mosturiser. Leave for 10 minutes for it to absorb into skin before applying any concealer or foundation. It will be easier for foundation to blend when your mosturiser is absorbed.
- Apply foundation onto your face with fingers in circular motion. I usually dap 5 drops on forehead, nose, chin and cheeks, and tap them gently with my middle finger tip and blend them. Alternatively, you can use a make-up sponge to help for a smoother finish.
- Apply concealer under eye to cover dark circles or pimples.
- Apply a thin layer of translucent loose powder to make your make up stay longer. Dust it over your face with a large brush.
- Dust your blusher on your cheekbones, remember to smile when you are doing it 🙂 you will get the apple cheeks effect 🙂 To slim down your face, you should apply your blusher in upward motion, applying it in a circular motion will make your cheeks appear rounder.
- Remember to curl your lashes as well, curl lashes with mascara will make your eyes appear rounder and bigger. You can draw a thin eyeliner as well. But, I think heavy eye-shadow, eyeliner and mascara can’t go altogether, it will make you look like you are in show.
- Most importantly, dap on some lip gloss and you are ready to go!
P/S: If your eyes are on heavy make up, try to use lighter shade of lip color, so you have only one focus on your face. Vice versa, you can use darker lip color if you are not emphasizing anything else on your face.
