After taking a long break from blogging, I can’t believe when I resumed blogging again, I have crossed the line of…30!
Looking at this post from 2 years ago, I suffered from late quarter life crisis, and am glad that I have crossed off my wish list then and got myself a bike!
I had quite major hiccup in life a while ago, and thanks to dear friends and family who supported me all the way through, am really thankful for you guys 🙂 and I think I have outdone myself too!
I think I have also learnt a thing or two stepping into a new milestone:
1. Putting in great effort doesn’t guarantee any return .
2. Focus and enjoy what you have, work on the glass half full concept.
If you have noticed, I have also changed the blog header, from hot pink to a plain one – to celebrate growing up.
Then.
I think I have started using this header since 2011, it’s been a long time and due for change.
Now.
Hello simplicity!
It’s been a month into 30, and I am glad that I am not alone of the fence of 30 😉 I am feeling confident as I was reassured by some that 30s is going to be better than 20s!

I loved it when I reached 30 because that was when I realised who I was, what I needed to achieve in life, I learnt to accept my weaknesses and focused on my strengths and I achieved a great deal of things in my life then – a great career, absolute happiness with what I had and didn’t have and all those allowed me to keep being positive about myself and landed me a wonderful man I married 3-4 years later. Hence, I always thought that women achieve some sort of independence in life when they reach 30.
I wish you all the best in life’s dicoveries and hope that you enjoy every single experience you go through. Nice change to the blog look and I look forward to your updates 🙂
