Hello 2012 with Fireworks Nail Art

by xin on December 31, 2011

Fireworks

Baby, you’re a firework
Come on, let your colors burst
Make ‘em go, oh
You’re gonna leave ‘em falling down

-cue Katy Perry-

Zoya Charla

My new addition to the family – Zoya Charla with 2 coats.

Such a pretty shade, it looks slightly blue-ish in the picture, but it’s more green in person.

It’s smooth and creamy, application is easy. Zoya polishes have got really good and smooth finish. Perfect for all levels.

As you know I can’t bear to see the nails being lonely >.< even though green shimmer is not exactly the best base for nail art, but nothing could stop me.

Fireworks1 on Zoya Charla

Using just few colors that you can imagine fireworks to be, you can use an unwanted eyeliner brush, slowly, from out to inwards, make a drop that resembles a petal.

Repeat the ‘petals’ to form something like fireworks.

Fireworks Nail Art Tutorial

Since I did it pretty quickly and in a hurry, I did not manage to capture the step by step picture. It’s not the best-looking fireworks nail art, but there is the spirit of new year ;)

Happy 2012 all & party safe!

I won’t be joining any parties but will have a quiet time at home :)
