How did Garnier SOS Blemish Clear Pen score?

by prettybeautiful on June 30, 2008

Thanks for your many ideas and concern, I am on my way to recovery from pimples (or so i hope). So, how did this Garnier SOS Blemish Clear Pen score after all?

It is stated on the box that visible efficiency in 5 hours. True that. Pimples dry out after 5 hours of application and the skin around it started to peel off as well.

after5 hours

As you can see, the pimples seemed to have shrunk a little after 5 hours. I continued using it till Friday.

after facial

On Saturday itself, out of desperation, I went for another deep cleansing facial at Aster Spring KLCC. The whole extraction process was painful like shit. But at least the pimples have finally been extracted and subsided. 2 more stubborn ones left though, and I was told to go back for following treatment 2 weeks later. Money oh money. One deep cleansing facial cost RM258. Ouch!

Anyone got better and cheaper recommendation? :(

not sure whether it helps, but i use cellnique skin action gel as a blemish gel too. seems to dry it and stops it from getting bigger

Clinique’s Acne Solution Spot Healing Gel works for me. RM 80 for very small bottle but it lasts forever because all you need is just a really tiny amount enough to dab on the zit. The gel dries and ‘flatten’ my zits overnight.

oooo, its rm 139 for 30ml. i usually get from a supplier at rm105 or so.

u can check out this page, i’ve reviewed it earlier. its actually a gel to control sebum production and reduce black and white heads :)

Annie: I see…will the zit drop off by itself when it is dry?

jessie: oh this one. rm105 is a good price compared to what we pay for outside. but it is so irritating that no gel can ever melt the blackheads!

Best to stick it out for me. I personally find that facials often aggravate the skin more than do it good. But glad that it worked out for ya :)

I don’t know if it works for everyone but for me, when the zits dry, i can peel that thin layer of skin off and sometimes, the white head of the zit will stick to the skin and some other time, i just need to give it a little push to get it out.

I’ve only been to an extraction facial twice in my life and I never liked them :( my skin scars very easily which is no fun at all! I still have the scar on my face from the last extraction

I suggest you try out our Local Obagi. I’m not a reseller or anything but this product worked miracles on my skin. My professor even praised my skin.
