I hate wisdom tooth

by xin on September 6, 2007

Sigh. I hate wisdom tooth. I have heard about how people who have their wisdom tooth growing suffer from the unlimited pain. And now, it is finally my turn again.

I had my wisdom tooth grown on the left side more than a year ago, but it stopped half way, in fact, I still can’t really see it when I open my mouth and check. And today, the wisdom tooth on my right started to grow. I woke up with a slight fever and my teeth felt like jelly. As I moved my jaw a little, I knew something was wrong. And, I tried to use my tongue to reach out at the end of my teeth, I felt something hard and painful inside, so I guess it is the wisdom tooth.

Damn, what can I do with the wisdom tooth??? 🙁

Ouch!!

The only way to get ease the pain would be to get that tooth extracted.

Good luck *pat you on the back* :p

Agree with Tine. Gotta get it out. I went through it a while back. Make sure your dentist can do wisdom teeth extraction (Its minor dental surgery) and totally numbs you before taking it out. Then, pump yourself full of painkillers and go to sleep. Apply a cold compress (towel soaked in ice water) to your cheek. It’ll help with swelling. All thing going well, you’ll be fine in a day or two. Good luck!

If your tooth is growing out properly and not causing a lot of problems then you can leave it. But dentists usually recommend it be taken out because its hard to clean and prone to cavities.
