Introducing Clarins White Plus HP Sea Lily Enriched Skincare Range

by xin on April 23, 2010

More often than not, I have always asked myself: Why just can’t I be very fair despite the fact that I avoid sun and also use sunscreen religiously?

Well I guess this is a pretty common question among the Asians. Eventually, I learnt the fact that there is NO SHORT CUT to whiten myself, I can only keep my skintone look even hence more radiant with the use of whitening products.

Recently, Clarins has launched a new range known as the White Plus HP Sea Lily Enriched.  With they key ingredient as Sea Lily extract, they have discovered another breakthrough in skin whitening.

A little bit of background:

Like any cell with dendrites, the melanocyte has the capacity to extend its <> and retract them. This phenomenon is called “dendricity” which is just like an extension of the “Melanin Tunnel” to transport and transfer melanin to epidermal cells. With increasing UV aggression, inflammation, stress damages…etc., in order to quickly deliver this large quantity of melanosomes to the skin, dendrites extend and ramify, finally more and more melanins are distributed to cells through the extension of “melanin tunnel”. Skin pigmentation quickly intensified resulting to skin darkening and dark spots.

The Clarins White Plus HP Sea Lily Enriched Skincare Range includes:

1. Pearl-To-Cream Brightening Cleanser, 125ml at RM110.
2. Whitening Pure Aqua-Lotion, 200ml at RM145
3. Whitening Soft Aqua-Milk, 200ml at RM145 (dry-prone skin & in cold weather)
4. All Spots Whitening Corrector, 7ml at RM185
5. Whitening Moisture Day Lotion SPF20 PA++/Oil Free, 50ml at RM190
6. Intensive Whitening Smoothing Serum, 30ml at RM260

Clarin’s Commitment to Environment

Contribution to the school in Marovday

Apart from being active and responsible in social work, (did you know Clarins culture their own plants so the environment is being preserved?), they do play a part in contributing to science! Recently, Clarins has joined partnership with Solar Impulse Project to fund the innovation of solar-powered aircraft. Hopefully we will be able to ride in a solar-powered craft soon!

Clarins Malaysia also has “Green The Earth” campaign. A joint partnership with Bandar Harapan, an organic farm for disabled persons which aims to educate the general public and children on the importance of greening the earth and adopting a 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) lifestyle.

One Clarins product I’ve been super wanting to try is their Base cream ? Not sure the exact name, I saw Makeupgeek using it and I want to give it a try! I heard nothing but good things about Clarins Skincare, my friend is using the whole range and swore by it!

White doesn’t necessarily mean beautiful. Trust me I know. I’m a fair/pale/ghost-like Chinese :-) It’s a genetic thing. Once, I used Shiseido White Lucent Milk for Day Use, I drove home & caught some evening sun (after 6pm) and got Sun-Burnt!! Never again. Remember to Smile.. that’s true Radiance.
