I am not sure if anyone else has this habit but I always keep a packet of green tea at my work desk for the occasional indulgence when I feel that I overdose with lunch.
No doubt, green tea has so many benefits like anti-oxidant properties, helps to lose weight, and most importantly – it helps me to get rid of the ‘oily’ feeling after lunch.
I recently developed a new practice for a quick ‘pick me up’ during the office hours.
After making the tea, I leave the tea bag aside and lay it on some tissue to dry it a little, then I put the tea bag on my eye (rotating) for a couple of minutes. I find that it really helps to soothe the tired eyes after almost a long morning staring at the computer.
Of course, this is only applicable to those who don’t wear eye makeup to work.
It’s a totally free little treat on a hectic day and nothing goes to waste. Next time if you have a few minutes to spare after drinking the tea, try it!
