It’s mother’s day today, what have you given your mom? No, this set of cosmetics is not from me to my mom, they are from my sisters. Let’s check them out.
A beautiful complimentary gift bag for the cosmetics

-Foundation : RM158.00
-Blush : RM 98.00
-Duo Eye Shadow : RM95.00
-2 Lip colors :RM 68 each
Let’s take a look at the blush, it’s in peach pink, it has a bit of orange shade, this is more suitable for tanned skin. If you have a fair skin, it’d be nice if you go for baby pink blush.
This is a duo color eye shadow, a light purple+blue and a darker purple+blue. Very elegant and gentle color, should be suitable for my mom. 😀 Look at the built-quality of this palette, it looks really classy unlike some over-the-counter brands, how often duo color eye shadow comes with a mirror? Look at the price and you know why. 🙂
A brighter color of lipstick in ruby. The code is LF09.
A darker shade of red, sorry about the slight difference, it’s actually a much darker red like liver red, but I was having lighting problem.
Skin smooth foundation, SF03, Fair. I have tried this a little bit on my hand and it’s really easy to push and blend with skin. It costs a hefty RM158.00 for a 35ml.
If you look at a set of 5 products like this, the total comes to RM487.00 ~ USD143. It’s really pricey I’d say. We were entitled to a little discount for our purchase, but still expensive in my opinion. *I did not go with my sisters. I could have assembled a similar set at lower prices, but of course, the quality would have been different then. This brand, Averine, is actually made in Italy, it should be available at selected cosmetics/beauty centre. I can’t tell you whether this brand is really worth the money or not now, since they are all brand new and it’s not mine 😛 I’ll update this post when I get my hands on them!

How sweet of your sisters. I have tried the foundation. It felt nice like gel. Colour match is also pretty good and the coverage is quite sheer.
Paris: That sounds nice, I will tell my mom to use it asap. Probably I have to wait till my mother to experiment it. Hehe it’s her gift after all, I will feel bad for using it first before her 😀
