NOTD: Minions from Despicable Me!

With the craze of Despicable Me 2, even if you are not a fan of the movie, it’s hard to not notice this character.

They are cute, and relatively easy to paint.

To begin this nail art, you will need:

Bright yellow polish, acrylic colors, fine art brush, top & base coat.

Firstly, paint the yellow base, let dry and paint a black stripe for the band.

Then, using a dotting tool, or brush, mix up black and white acrylic paint to get the grey, and make 2 dots and 1 dot as the spectacle frame.

When it’s dried, using the dotting tool again, dot some white paint onto the grey for the eyeball.

When the white paint is dried, using the dotting tool and black paint, carefully drop the dot for the eye ball.

Then, finally adding other details such as mouth, and the hair if you like.

Let it dry thoroughly and protect it with a top coat.

Now I have minions keep me company for the week 😉
