NOTD: Not so summer: Hoohoo-haha Red Indian Nails

by xin on April 12, 2009

Inspired by Nikki, I was trying to create a ‘summer’ nails, and I got Red Indian nails in the end!

This is a pretty simple tutorial, you need:

1. 10 French tip stickers
2. Base and top coat ( i am a fan of Face Shop now, cheap and good)
3. 2 colors of nail polish
4. Dotting tool (nail art tool)

french tip sticker

1. Do a base coat, wait till completely dry then stick the french tip in the middle of the nail to separate 2 colors.

2. Then, pick any colors of your choice and just fill in the blanks!

3. Wait till your color is completely dry, peel off the french tip gently. You can actually stop by this step, or use another color to fill in the white blanks. But i somehow think that it looks naked just like that.

4. Using a liquid-paper look alike nail paint, I outlined my colors to create an obvious triangle. I am not sure if you can use a liquid paper for this. Has anyone experimented?

5. Let dry and then top with a top coat to protect your nail art! With the faceshop topcoat, your nail art is actually almost safe for at least a week!

Hope you girls enjoy reading my ‘hoo-haa’ nails!
