A blasting weekend and Meeting Yuan in person @ Bodybar

by prettybeautiful on April 20, 2009

Harro ladies! It’s been really long since I last had the time to sit down and blog, I have tonnes of stuff to write! Let me share with you my blasting weekend. :D

1. On friday night, I went for a FULL body massage for the FIRST time. And gosh, that was quite an experience. Full body means..errr including breasts! Surprisingly I didn’t feel too awkward about it.

2. I went for my FIRST proper mani/pedi at Strip in Bangsar. My first ever. Can u believe? (Will blog about it)

3. Most of all, I had the chance to meet Yuan in person!!! Yes, the great man behind the Yuan soap.

b1

I totally jumped at the oppo when I heard that Yuan was coming to bodybar @ tropicana citymall. Since tropincana city mall is not far from me, so i registered myself and also my companion.

b2

The punctual birds got sample of Yuan soap! Awesome. Perfect chance to try out.

b3

And the display of Yuan soap in the shop. I actually bought a piece of soap previously for my oily scalp, and i quite like it. :)

I also took a photo with Mr Yuan!

b4

The great, humble and down to earth men. Oh yeah, I got him to sign on my freebie! :D

b5

Look! It says: Wish You Happy, A-Yuan.

I took a while to read the words, I almost wanted to ask him. Errr may I know what did you just write? Hehehe

b6

Then it was a briefing/interacting session with Yuan. I was quite enlightened through out the whole thing. He started making his own soap due to his bad skin allergy. He could not use any commercial soap so he started by his own first formula: bamboo leave + salt. And soon he discovered some other formulas and was getting overwhelming responses from friends/relatives around him.

And when I asked about more formula for shampoos, and he said things are still in progress but will come soon. :D i am really really looking forward to buy Yuan shampoo! After all, washing hair with soap is still quite..er..not so user friendly.

b7

I bought a piece of laundry soap @ RM17.50 too! And see the small round package? I got it from Yuan himself during the session when I popped some Qs to him! Yeay! And the content?

b8

Lemon soap and Wild Mugwort soap (the best-seller in Taiwan). Awesome!

b9

About the laundry soap, I had to cut it into smaller pieces for easier usage. Its better and more hygenic to use it piece by piece right? I sometimes handwash my lingerie and find that the normal detergent are too strong for my hands. So i hope this works for me! If you wish to use it for washing machine, you have to blend it into powder first. Anyone got tips to blend this into powder without using a blender?

So, this pretty sums up my Sunday.

How did your weekend go? ;)

Maybe slice it using a cheese slicer? Hehe, then pop the slices into hot water 1st!

Write the review! Write the review! Hehe. I have been putting off buying the soaps cause I can’t really justify RM20+ for a bar of soap. But it looks really awesome. Mr. Yuan is so nice!
