A while ago, I was bothered by some really dry skin issue on the weekdays but normal skin during the weekends. I
I was lucky to be given 2 sets of Esmeria Organics skin care to alternate between weekdays and weekends. Now that I have my combination skin back, I hardly use the Glasswort range anymore. The new focus is on Prickly Pear range for normal to combination skin now.
The Prickly Pear range in gorgeous pink packaging. I love the color already
Over the 2 months, I have tested: cleansing gel, toner, moisturizer and replenishing moisturizer.
1. Balancing Cleansing Gel:
The gel is light in texture and smells great. I usually use it at night after using cleansing oil.
It cleanses skin quite well without drying the skin out. Add some water to lather up before applying in on your face.
2. Balancing Toner:
Compared to the Glasswort toner, this is thinner and not as sticky. And it does not have the pungent smell either. I think it is an okay toner for light daily use.
I am almost done with the whole tube of moisturizer, as my daily moisturizer now. I can safely tell you that it never broke me out nor clog my pores. The texture is light yet moisturizing enough for our humid weather. Referring to the picture, you can tell that it is relatively runny and easy to spread.
4. Replenishing Moisturizer:
Usually, I prefer to use Replenishing Moisturizer during the nights when I have applied deep cleansing mask. It helps to replenish the moisture after being too cleansed. Although it is thicker than the moisturizer, it is still easy to spread and feels light on skin. I feel that both of the moisturizers are quite similar, the only difference is the moisturizing level.
Overall, I think Esmeria is a brand that worth looking in to, especially if you are a starter in skin care, or are more comfortable in trying out basic skincare without breaking your bank. They have a few range so I am sure there is one that will suit you.
