stila lip glaze set with sharpener

Quite a while ago, a friend of mine gave me a set of Stila Lip Glaze Stick in Ginger Bread & Pencil Sharpener. All came in a box. Love the fact that there is a sharpener for it.

Orange is not usually a color of I will wear – but I am just curious how it will look on my lips.

On my hand, the color looks rather sheer and very glossy, and sticky I must add.

While on my lips, the color doesn’t show up too much either, but shimmery.

The color lasted for 2 hours when I did not eat or drink anything! And yes, I kind of experimented 😀

I like the convenience of being a pencil lip color, but the bummer is also you will have to sharpen it everyday if you use it daily.

And once you sharpen, the stick will become very soft…

And just melted and broke when I applied on my lip!

Bummer!

I had to sharpen a few more times ago until the hard part. There went 2cm of waste.

Overall, I quite like it to be in pencil form, but not the sharpening and melting bit. Should I keep it in the freezer now to chill it back to shape?

I certainly won’t mind trying other colors though if I have the chance.

That looks very pretty on you! But what a shame it melts and break so easily. Bummer!

I also have a Stila lipglaze which I use occasionally.
I live in a desertic country, Australia (Western Australia).
Mine didn’t melt like yours.
I usually pop my lipglaze in the freezer for 1 hour or overnight before sharpening it.
