I have heard about so many praises about Cellnique products, and finally I bought this trial kit to try it out.
Indeed. It is good for sensitive skin. My stupidly sensitive skin is not allergic to this series, great I thought. BUT, it is dry for my face.
I have an annoying combination of skin, the inside of my skin is oily while the outside is dry. While this series is more suiable oily face I suppose. The day/night serum feels so dry on my skin, and my skin is starting to flake now. Well, I do drink plenty of water. More than 3L a day. Apparently my skin needs more hydration than that. Seriously, this serum does not generate any oil at all. Not even after I wake up. So, if you have very oily face, I think this will do you good.
As for the algae cleanser, I have not much complaint about it. But. it is quite drying as well. I still prefer my milk cleanser the best. For the glowing mask, sadly, my face did not glow after using. It is actually clay mask. Clay mask is good for oily skin, but not dry skin. Some people with combination skin, as in oily at the T zone, dry at the cheeks, can probably try this out. But, since my external layer of skin is dry, I will need more hydration.
Nonetheles, I love the fact that I am not allergic to this set. I wonder if they have other series that will cater to my skin type.

well, did you follow their steps correctly? as for the glowing masque, did you apply on it, wait for 3-5 minutes, then massage it with circular motions and then only wash your face?
the moisturizer – you have to pump at least 3pumps babe. so that it’ll absorb to your face and keep your skin moisturized all day long.
last time i’d used the glowing masque wrongly, that’s why it didn’t give much effect. later on, i went and kinda “complain” to cellnique and i only found out i’ve used the wrong steps. now i can see the results! =)

thanks for the explanation. i suddenly came to realize about something, maybe i should not penalize this series so soon, because right now i am under going major diet change. argh everything is screwed up now, im so depressed. i think i bought this like >2 weeks ago. no more money back. 🙁 and, i wonder if we can really get our money back. Anyway, i have kept the products aside for a while, will try using it again once my condition is better, to see if it suits my skin. 🙂
