Before I had my first Philips Epilator 6408, I was using all sorts of hair removal methods, of course inclusive of many Veet products.
Well, I didn’t buy this, my sister did
So, I test-drove her new stuff.
It is said on the instructions that you apply this before shower on completely dry skin, then wait for about 3 mins before rubbing it off. Never leave it for more than 6 mins on your skin though.
However, after 3 mins, you should test-rubbing a little to see if the hair comes off easily, if it doesn’t, wait for another minute.
You are told to use the sponge of the rough side and scrub off your hair in circular motion, the sponge feels like sandpaper on my skin!
This is not exactly the best product as it is not that efficient in removing hair. So, you should give it a little patience to test and try it. I was quite impatient to rub it off.
My skin does feel smooth later though, and it does not irritate at all! Priced at RM20.80 in Watsons, you can try it out.
P/S: The biggest advantage is, it smells good and does not sting at all!

Wow, can I use it to remove my beard?
Hey I have that stashed in my cupboard somewhere, unused! When I get back to M’sia, I’m taking it back here with me
Haha..I have this in my bathroom now – can’t say I fancy the smell though (like trying too hard to mask the chemical smell). Otherwise it’s a pretty decent product – and I agree with you on the sponge=sandpaper bit!
Kitkat: if you dont mind, can u try n let me know? I have been wanting to know too!
Tine: haha what hair removal are you using now?
beetrice: though it sandpapers us, but it feels quite smooth eh?
I’m really glad I don’t need hair removal stuff – too sparse and too light to be noticed! LOL…
oh looks like its worth a try!
