Vibrating mascara is not something new in the market anymore. The higher end brands have launched their mascaras as early as 2009 I believe…but I was not so thrilled by the price tag.
And finally now Maybelline has it too! Not exactly cheap but it is still bearable.
Introducing the new Maybelline Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara!
I did not bother reading the printed instructions and used the mascara. To my horror, the wand did not vibrate when I pressed the switch! For a moment I thought I bought a faulty one..then I proceeded to reading the instructions… bummer!
This is the sticker that you have to peel off to activate the battery.
And yes u have to keep pressing the switch while using to keep the ‘pulse’.
The wand is quite interesting this time. As you can see, not much of mascara stuck to the wand.
Tip: To reduce clumpiness, lightly wipe the wand on a tissue paper to remove the clumps before using it on your lashes.
This is one coat of mascara on my lashes.
I actually love the effect! And the curl stays for the whole day without smudging.
It dries up very fast too :DOverall, I think it is quite a good mascara for the price, definitely beats Max Factor False Lash Effect completely.
Price: RM59.90 (I got mine for 50% during the roadshow)
Availability: Watsons/Guardian/Most pharmacies

I’m not even sure if we have it down here! I would LOVE to give this a try as I’ve tried the Lancome one and I want to see the difference between the high end and lower ended one! 🙂
great week Xin! 🙂
give it a try if u see it!
I love this mascara! it’s smaller cuter version of the lancome oscillation. sooo nice to use if i may say so. 🙂
have not used the lancome oscillation, but i like this too!
The mascara looks lovely on you. I would love to try it. Thanks for the review.
I am sure it’d look great on u too 😀
The RRP is near the price of Max Factor’s mascaras I think.
yes…but even if it’s any Maybelline mascara, it still works better than the MF false lash effect for me 😉
hi.. nice blog and very informative blog u have here 😀
i just wanna know, is the mascara easy to be removed?
thanks..
hi, it is a little harder than usual to remove so you will need dedicated eye/lip makeup remover to do the job
